![]() ![]() You're learning about the events from the Crossbell games from newspapers, NPCs, and story cutscenes in those games. CS1 takes place from the mid point of Zero until close to the end of Azure, and CS2 takes place almost entirely during Azure's finale. My assumption has been that it will be earlier than March, but there's no way to know-and that admittedly is starting to seem less likely with no date announced still.Īs far as Azure's story, yes it ties heavily into pretty much all the CS games. There has been no word on when exactly Azure will come out though, just 2023. If you really really can't wait no matter what, I'd say sure go do the Geofront version but still support the game when it comes West. ![]() Some guy that wishes he knew more than English. Additionally, for those that have played it, I would like confirmation on what's needed for the Geofront patch as I understand it right now, I have to purchase the Chinese version and then I would be able to use the patch for English translation. I would appreciate any advice, as well on clarification if I am misunderstanding anything. ![]() Is this true? If so, would you recommend that I just get the Geofront translation patch for Azure so that I can seamlessly hop back into Cold Steel, or would you recommend that I wait for the NISA version releasing (hopefully) six months from now, and but the brakes on my Cold Steel train (pun intended) until then? ![]() I've read that the Azure storyline heavily ties into Cold Steel, quite especially starting with CS III, but even in I & II a bit. I'm only at the second chapter of Zero right now, but I obviously will finish playing well before the planned NISA release in 2023 (from what I've read, in March). I plan to re-play Cold Steel I & II before I get to those. I have purchased Cold Steel III & IV, but have not yet played them. I just re-played FC and SC, and played 3rd for the first time, and now I am playing Zero. Needless to say to most of you reading this, that advice was garbage. According to some forum posts I had read at the time, I wasn't missing much by not playing 3rd and that the Crossbell series was more or less a footnote I wouldn't have to worry about. Several years ago, I'd played through Trails in the Sky FC and SC, and then went on to Cold Steel I & II, as these were the only games released in English at the time. ![]()
